Inclusive Schools Week – February 10-14
Coach Landingham coordinated activities at Andrews throughout the week to help students understand some of the challenges that may be affecting their friends so they can be more understanding and helpful in their interactions.
In observance of Inclusive Schools Week, the students and staff were encouraged to wear a different shirt color each day to raise awareness and show support:
- Monday – Gray shirt to support Asthma awareness
- Tuesday – Orange shirt for ADHD awareness
- Wednesday – Multicolor shirt for Autism awareness
- Thursday – Green shirt representing cerebral palsy
- Friday – Spirit Wear day for Andrews: Understanding and being aware of all our differences make us better students, listeners and much better friends
